The Swim Academy was established in 1996 in Boca Raton, FL. Through the years we have worked tirelessly to produce a curriculum and training style that is both effective, productive and positive. Our approach is individual-centered as opposed to skill-centered. While the initial goal for every new swimmer is to become safe and confident as quickly as possible, The Swim Academy individualizes every swim lesson so each child is challenged to reach his/her potential at his/her own readiness level. Due to this approach we are able to work with students from infancy through their teens and are able to effectively teach the fearful as well as the fearless child.
The Swim Academy has classes for your swimmer from beginner to swim team. We continue our swimming education through the development of correct and proper stroke swimming and eventual training in competitive swimming.
We pride ourselves on only hiring the best to teach your child. Our certified coaches use a hands-on approach to help students find their greatest potential. Every background checked, rigorously trained coach is able to adjust and implement our progressive curriculum for your individual.
In an atmosphere of patience, love and fun, each new student can learn-to-swim or learn-to-swim better while building self-esteem in our positive teaching environment.

My son has been going here since he was 1 and he’s almost 4 and my daughter has been going since she was 1 and she’s almost 2. My kids love the water and love swimming. Ms. Nicole and Mr. Martin are fantastic and so good with my kids. My son is autistic and everyone who’s worked with him is so good with him and patient, and it’s super important for us to have him learn to swim because he’s not always paying attention. Our pool gate was left open and for a second my son got in the water lucky he knew how to float and we got him right away but every single dollar we’ve spent on lessons was worth that scare we had. 100% worth it. They’re truly the best.

Coach Nicole and Coach Martin are the best!!!
They have really built a level of trust with my girls which has ultimately led to them being able to swim. They make it incredibly fun and have different themes which get the kids very excited. Every kid goes at their own pace, but the coaches push them without scaring them which was very important to myself and my husband. Coach Martin and Nicole really know their stuff! We are very pleased having our 13 month old in this academy.
My son started classes Aug 2019. He’s still learning but Nicole and Pat have been patient and amazing with him. Outside area is clean, new chairs and tables for the parents, nanny or grandparents and they have a stocked up changing area (just in case you forgot sun block). Music is always fun. They are accommodating on make sessions and class hours. A plus with their communication via text.
